Tibetan Buddhist pilgrim dies, fulfilling last wish

Guntur, India -- An ailing Tibetan Buddhist pilgrim, who came for the Kalachakra programme in Amaravathi town, Guntur district, passed away in Guntur General Hospital here today.
The 60-year-old pilgrim, who had been suffering from terminal cancer, arrived in the holy town only to die in the presence of the Dalai Lama, who is taking part in the rituals.
His condition worsened last night and he was hospitalised. His last wish was to be buried in Amaravathi in the presence of the Dalai Lama.
