Sri Lanka ICT agency places Buddhist religious books online

Colombo, Sri Lanka -- Information Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) of Sri Lanka has taken measures to make all Buddhist religious school books available online.

Buddhist religious school text books from Grade 1 to the highest Dharmacharya examination are now available online at http://www.dahamsayura.com/ website.

The Buddhist Gathas can be listened to via this website and the books can be downloaded free of charge.

The project is a part of the 'e-social development' programme of the government.

The website is run by a remote village Nenasala center in the Thanamalwila area of the Monaragala district.
