A meeting was held recently in this connection at the Sri Dalada Maligawa Library, in which the Norwegian ambassador in Sri Lanka and other embassy officials met the Mahanayakes of the Asgiriya and Malwatta Chapters and the Diyawadana Nilame Pradeep Nilanga Dela.
The Buddhist Academy will be open to the Buddhist clergy and members of the public. The building plans include three student hostels.
