BEXPO - Seoul International Buddhism Expo - March

Seoul, South Korea -- The 2016 SEOUL International Buddhism EXPO (서울국제불교박람회) is to be held at Seoul Trade Exhibition Center (SETEC) from March 24 to March 27 under the theme “The Space to rest your Mind”.

BEXPO is a cultural celebration offering guests a glimpse into Korean Buddhism, traditional Korean culture and World Buddhism.

This year’s event features the 4th Buddha Art Festival showcasing Korean traditional art and Buddhist art.

Increasing in scale, this years BEXPO is the largest yet including over 300 industries with various fundraising and PR activities and events, including various vendors and booths highlighting traditional Korean crafts, Korean Buddhist handicrafts, traditional tea, organic and vegetarian foods, and temple stay guide, as well as a range of Buddhist artworks and crafts from across the globe as the World Buddhist traditions will join in cultural exchange programs with over 10 different countries participating including Japan, China, Bhutan, Thailand and Myanmar.

Increasing in scale, this years BEXPO is the largest yet including over 400 industries with various fundraising and PR activities and events. There will also be the state of the art 360VR Booth where the latest technology meets traditional culture, so guests can interact and visit the beautiful Korean monasteries virtually.

Tickets cost 3000 won, and large portion of it will be used for donations to non-profit organizations, and fundings for cultural development.
