Most Venerable Jaseung Sunim, head of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, is “I-yontan man”

Hongjae Dong, Seoul (South Korea) -- The “I-yontan-man” project was established and developed by the Dreaminus Arumdaundongheng (beautiful companion), social service of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, to build a briquette supplies warehouse for solitude senior citizens in Hongjae Dong, Seoul.

During the “I-yontan-man” relay, the nominated person must draw a picture of a briquette on their hand and pose as Marvel Superhero Ironman for a photograph in exchange for an ARS donation, then nominate the next 2 candidates.

The Dreaminus Arumdaundongheng donates 5 pieces of briquette per each ARS phone call of 3,000 Korean Won from the public.

Lee Chae Un, President of Korea Buddhist University Federation, had nominated Most Venerable Jaseung Sunim, head of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism as the next I-yontan-man

Most Venerable Jaseung Sunim states, many of our neighbors survive the harsh winter with just 2 pieces of briquettes. This small donation can mean so much to our senior citizens who need warmth.

The Briquette donation project, “I-yountan-man” started in November in 2014, and until today there had be more than 200 participants.
