The Korea Herald, Jan 27, 2005
Seoul, South Korea -- The Jogye Order and monks from several other Buddhist groups will go on an all-night prayer vigil from today for Monk Jiyul who has been fasting for 92 days, opposing the government's plan to construct a tunnel through Mount Cheonseong.
About 20 monks including Monk Jiwon of the Jogye Order and Monk Seyoung of the Buddhist Environment Solidarity held a meeting Tuesday, and decided to hold the prayers in Jogye Temple in central Seoul.
