The game tasks players with swapping neighboring lotus flowers to match three or more of the same color, completing stage goals within a limited number of moves. As they progress through 500 stages and 96 gardens, players unlock artwork and short textual reflections, which can be revisited in a collection menu or saved as PNG images with accompanying text . The full Steam edition supports 10 interface languages, including Korean, English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese, and offers unlimited retries with no advertisements or in-game purchases .

A separate free demo includes the first 25 stages, allowing players to sample the core mechanics and visual style before committing to the full game . According to Korean gaming outlet Game Chosun, the Steam release and demo were targeted for simultaneous launch at 3 a.m. KST on November 6 .

Onegames said the project was conceived to help people who recognize the name Tripitaka Koreana but are unfamiliar with Buddhist scriptures gradually explore an interest through play. The current game contains short Lotus Sutra-inspired reflections but does not reproduce the complete Tripitaka Koreana or the full text of the scriptures. The studio plans future updates inspired by other Buddhist scriptures, with scope and timing to be announced.

The game's Steam page includes an AI-generated content disclosure stating that artwork and some text and localization were created with the assistance of generative AI, then selected and edited by the developer. The game does not generate AI content during play or connect to external AI services .
